What we carry , how we carry it, for whom we carry it and how heavy this courier becomes often speaks more about our career than any curriculum vitae we make. On a stroll in the lanes of Bengaluru, I find people carrying their 'Bojhaa' or 'baggage' in unique ways. To some, our carriers like bags and purses could be status symbols. However, it is weird that these glamorous products before reaching our hands go through a chain of modest packaging items and thousands of hands involved in the supply chain management process. Something as normal as a daily backpack or 'jhola' can decide whether the person carrying the kind of packaging belongs to a certain section and class of society or not. Certainly, those who carry modest packages have multiple other burdens to carry, not only as the cog in a giant supply chain machine but in terms of societal baggage as well! Here's a closer look:
